London 2012: Ben Ainslie Lymington Olympic homecoming

Record-breaking Olympic sailor Ben Ainslie has been honoured by residents of his home town of Lymington.

Thousands of people turned out to see him tour the town on an open top bus, proudly showing off his gold medal from the London 2012 Games.

The 35-year-old won his fourth gold medal at the 2012 sailing events, hosted by Weymouth and Portland in Dorset.

Ainslie has lived in the Hampshire coastal town for 12 years.
