Hampshire police smartphone app aims to tackle hate crime
Police have developed a new smartphone app to help tackle hate crime and encourage more victims to speak out.
The free 'Helping Victims of Hate Crime' app has been launched by Hampshire Constabulary.
It contains a definition of hate crime as well as detailed information on the types of crimes victims can suffer.
Hampshire police received 1,129 hate crime reports last year, compared to 1,220 the previous year.
