Shearings coach driver suspended for holding phone at wheel

A woman who photographed a coach driver using his mobile phone while driving on a busy motorway said he put her family's lives at risk.

Dawn Taylor from Gosport in Hampshire said the driver, from holiday company Shearings, continued to take calls despite complaints.

Mrs Taylor took up the issue with the company and the police, but feels the matter was not taken seriously.

Shearings said the driver has been suspended.
