Ben Ainslie's America's Cup sailing HQ plans to be discussed
Plans to build a multimillion-pound America's Cup headquarters in Portsmouth are to be considered by the city's planning inspectors.
Multiple Olympic sailing champion Sir Ben Ainslie wants his racing team's facility to be built at Camber Docks in Old Portsmouth.
The council's planning committee will consider the proposals on Wednesday.
It is hoped the project could create jobs and boost the economy.
However, concerns have been raised by residents about the height of the proposed building.
Council leader Donna Jones said officers would go into the meeting with a "clear head", without having "pre-determined" what they will decide.
