Water pumped from stricken cargo ship in Solent

The stricken cargo ship Hoegh Osaka, which ran aground at the weekend, remains under anchor in the Solent as salvage teams begin to pump water from its hull.

The ship's owners say righting it will be a slow process because of expected bad weather and it could be another week before it can be towed back to port to have its cargo unloaded.
