Migrant crisis: French migrants squat in disused warehouse
Ferry ports in the South - including Portsmouth and Poole - are among the prime access points for migrants trying to enter the country.
While Calais has been the focus of many campaigns, further along the French coast thousands of migrants are hoping to make it to England through other channel ports.
Outside the seaside town of Ouistreham, home to the port of Caen, a disused warehouse is being used as a squat by 30 migrants.
In the first of two special reports, BBC South Today's Home Affairs Correspondent Emma Vardy visits the Normandy warehouse with French charity Association de Solidarie avec les Travailleurs Imigres.
