Watch: Seal seen catching fish in Southampton river

A seal has been spotted catching its breakfast in a Southampton river.

Elizabeth Millar was running along the bank near Riverside Park when she witnessed the unusual sight on Thursday morning.

She managed to quickly film the encounter on her phone.

She said: "It was an amazing experience, not something you expect to see on a morning run through the park.

"The first glimpse was just the top of the head and then he appeared with the fish. I just felt so lucky to have experienced it, especially at such close quarters."
