Isle of Wight badger rescue team catch animal after break in

A badger that broke into a family home of the Isle of Wight has been rescued.

The animal ate its way through a garden door to enter the property in Ryde on Valentine's Day.

It then proceeded to vandalise multiple areas in the house, causing thousands of pound's worth of damage.

Volunteers from Badger Trust Isle of Wight were called and managed to safely get the badger in a cage, to then set it free.
