UK Floods: Upton-upon-Severn homeowners rescued

While flood defences in Upton-upon-Severn appear to be protecting the town, not all residents have been so lucky.

Some people have been rescued from their homes, while others said barriers have actually directed water towards their properties.

On Monday afternoon the water was 5.4 m (17 ft 9 in) above its normal level with more heavy rain expected.

BBC Midlands Today's Ben Sidwell reports.
