Derelict homes in Hull given £17m makeover

More than 100 homes, many of them derelict, have been rescued in Hull over the last year.

Funded by government loans, the project is part of a £17m scheme to ease the city's housing shortage.

Residents who have moved in to the refurbished homes said it was like living in a "different world".
