Dear burglar, you made my mummy sad

A five-year-old boy whose mother was left distraught after their home in Birchington, Kent was burgled has written a letter to the intruders urging them not to do it again.

Jak Groom's mother, Nikki, hopes his note will show the thieves the human impact of their crimes.

"Jak wanted to help so it is his input and his way of helping," she said. "It does have a massive effect on people's lives and it has affected Jak hugely."
