Gorilla stuck in Kent pines for family in Africa
A female gorilla left behind in Kent when the rest of her family were flown to Bateke Plateau National Park in Gabon is pining for her mate.
Djala, a 440lb (200kg) silverback who had been at Port Lympne in Kent since the 1980s, left the UK in June but Kibi could not fly because she was pregnant.
Now the Aspinall Foundation is hoping to find a way to reunite her with the rest of the group in Africa.
