Kent mental health group 'helping each other'
A group of people with mental health problems have set up their own support group because they feel let down by the NHS.
Members of the self-funded group, called Talk it Out, meet weekly in Deal where they receive support for issues including bereavement, depression, anxiety and post traumatic stress disorder.
The mental health campaigning charity Sane has said "seriously ill" people should not have to rely on small, voluntary groups.
Health commissioners in east Kent said they were sorry to hear people felt let down and they were committed to improving services.
