Rochester twins celebrate 100th birthday in childhood home

A pair of twins, who are shielding together in the home they grew up in, have celebrated their 100th birthday.

Dorothy Sivyer and Kathleen Whitehead began living together in Rochester, Kent, when restrictions were put in place as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Ms Sivyer said of living together: "One of the best things is we've got a very close friend."
