Blackpool tram trip journey down the years

Blackpool has the lowest life expectancy for men in the country and the third lowest for women.

BBC Radio Lancashire's Steve Becker took a tram trip through Blackpool illustrating how men living in the north of the resort can expect to live almost a decade longer than those the Bloomfield area.

The journey started at Norbreck, Bispham where the average male lives until he is 81 and heads south along the seaside before arriving at St Chad's Road stop to get to Bloomfield where the life expectancy for men falls below 72.
