Lieutenant returns to his Kirkham school via helicopter

Lt Chris Southworth returned to his old school in Lancashire - via a helicopter.

Lt Southworth landed his Royal Navy Lynx aircraft at Willows Primary School, Kirkham, where his mother, Shirley Wilson, is assistant headteacher.

On a training exercise nearby, Lt Southworth flew in to give pupils a tour of the aircraft and speak to them about life in the Royal Navy.
