Escaped emu joins traffic on main road while on the run

An escaped emu joined traffic on a main road while on the loose in Lancashire.

The flightless bird was caught on a driver's dashcam footage while it was on the run in Rawtenstall.

The emu was seen on the early Monday morning commute, walking ahead of a car on the right side of the road before performing a U-turn and going in the opposite direction when another vehicle drove past.
