Trapped goat's bid for freedom
A goat that became stuck on a narrow cliff ledge in a West Yorkshire village for five days jumped to safety just seconds before it was about to be freed by a mountain rescue team.
Members of Calder Valley Search and Rescue team were called to the cliff, at Cornholme in Calderdale, on Thursday, by residents fearing for the safety of the animal.
In a video posted on YouTube, local residents can be heard looking on as the goat scrambled off the ledge to freedom.
BBC North West Tonight's Liam O'Donoghue went in search of the goat, known locally as Billy.
