Tong High School creates a building site for students

A school in Bradford has opened a building site on its own premises in a bid to encourage its students to take up courses in the construction industry.

Tong High School has converted an old house in its grounds so pupils can learn about the reality of work in the building trade.

It has already helped some students to find jobs with construction companies, the school said.
