East Midlands Ambulance Service reveals bizarre 999 calls

A sick cat, dandruff and someone asking for help with their shopping are among some of the strange calls received by an ambulance service.

East Midlands Ambulance Service said it also received a call from a man who was kicked out of a club after a night out but had no money to get home.

The service said it wanted to remind people to only call 999 in a genuine emergency.
