Annemarie Leake crowned Glamorous Gran UK

A woman who has been winning beauty contests since she was a teenager has been crowned Glamorous Gran UK.

Annemarie Leake, who was Miss Lincolnshire 1982, said more people should enter beauty contests as they are "better than any happy pill".

The 54-year-old's daughter is also following in her footsteps and is in the running to become Miss Galaxy.
