Disability Pride Month: 'We aren't inspirational, we're just human'
July is Disability Pride Month, but Jo Tolley, a Lincoln-based advocate and activist, is speaking out against it being held at all.
Ms Tolley, who was born with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, says she doesn't think disabled people need a specific month to be proud and raise awareness of their disability.
She says: "Disability isn't a one-month thing."
