Met faces 'major funding challenge'

A year on from his appointment, the head of the Metropolitan Police has told BBC London the biggest challenge facing his force will be trying to make savings of £500m over the next three years.

Bernard Hogan-Howe, who has already overseen one of the busiest years in the Met's history policing the Jubilee and the Olympics, talks to BBC London's Home Affairs Correspondent Guy Smith.
