London sets £1m poppy day collection target

Londoners are being urged to help raise the ambitious target of £1m in 24 hours for City of London Poppy Day.

Hundreds of collectors are at 60 Tube and railway stations and there are performances all over the capital to encourage donations.

The BBC spoke to co-organiser Duncan Welham, former BBC war correspondent Martin Bell and Sapper Emalia Azumah, who served in the Royal Engineers from 2009 to 2010.
