Stem cell match hope for British Asians

Scientists in London are working on a new project to help find stem cell matches for British Asians more quickly.

The programme will focus on Asian donors because they are severely under-represented on the donor register.

The Anthony Nolan Trust estimates that people from Asian backgrounds have only a 40% chance of finding a match.
