Transport for London's '£900m surplus'
The Labour group has called on London Mayor Boris Johnson to cut fares after a report suggested Transport for London had a budget surplus of close to £900m.
But City Hall said the figures were wrong, adding that all the money was earmarked for improvements to the Tube and bus network in the capital.
BBC London's political correspondent Karl Mercer spoke to Labour London Assembly member Val Shawcross, Mike Brown from London Underground and Mr Johnson.
