London girl group Stooshe ready to storm charts

Pop trio Stooshe are attracting the attention of stars Nikki Minaj and Jennifer Lopez and making their mark on the charts.

The south London trio, who have roots in Brixton, Penge and Croydon, are influenced by classic American soul and Motown music.

Karis Anderson, Courtney Rumbold and Alex Buggs, who turned down a deal from Simon Cowell, could be on the way to replacing Girls Aloud as the country's golden girl group.

BBC London's Brenda Emmanus caught up with them as they went to meet their fans - or squad, as they prefer to be called.
