First Capital Connect passenger in ticket battle

A passenger faced a battle after train company First Capital Connect threatened to take him to court over claims he falsified a ticket and evaded a fare.

The ticket, a carnet-type, is offered by all rail companies and gives a 10% discount to passengers who travel on certain routes regularly. The ticket owner fills in the information on the ticket.

First Capital Connect later dropped the charges.

BBC London's Tom Edwards spoke to commuter William Collison and Roger Perkins from First Capital Connect.
