Pop-up restaurant in empty Lewisham shop

An empty high street shop in Lewisham has been turned into a pop-up restaurant for people who want to start a restaurant but cannot afford permanent premises.

Lewisham Borough Council said it hopes other councils might follow suit and help revitalise the capital's streets.

BBC London's Gareth Furby spoke to Mark Quintin and Karen Alleyne who paid £100 to open their restaurant for a night, and Labour councillor Alan Smith.
