Cycling lights at Bow roundabout where three have died
Low-level traffic lights have been installed at a roundabout where three people died in a bid to help improve road safety.
The lights, which have been used in Holland and Denmark, will eventually be installed in 11 locations across London.
Cycling commissioner Andrew Gilligan said the lights at Bow Roundabout were a start to making it safer and will avoid congestion.
Garrett Emmerson from Transport for London said the lights were just part of work to improve the junction.
