Battersea Power Station's chimneys to be replaced
Battersea Power Station's four chimneys are about to be dismantled and rebuilt as part of a major redevelopment of the site.
The chimney work is due to cost £11m but developers say the chimneys will look identical to how they did before.
Battersea Power Station and surrounding land is due to be converted into flats and the Northern line will be extended to two new stations nearby.
BBC London's Gareth Furby spoke to structural engineer Justin Phillips and Philip Gullett from the Battersea Power Station Development Company.
