The long-running Jack the Ripper mystery is 'solved'

An author and self-confessed "armchair detective" from Barnet claims to have solved perhaps the most notorious whodunnit.

Russell Edwards says he has discovered who Jack the Ripper really was. And apparently it all centres around a blood-stained shawl he bought at auction seven years ago.

Chris Rogers talks to Mr Edwards and Dr Jari Louhelainen, a senior lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University.
