'Superhuman efforts' to help free son
The family of a doctor from London who died in a Syrian prison made "superhuman efforts" to get him freed, an inquest jury has been told.
Dr Abbas Khan, 32 and from Streatham, was helping victims of hospital bombings.
His family believe he was murdered but the Syrian government said he killed himself.
Speaking in January, his mother Fatima Khan describes the condition he was physically in when she saw him in prison in this report by Alice Bhandhukravi.
