Tower Hamlets residents react to government criticism
Government commissioners are to be sent into Tower Hamlets Council after a government report listed a catalogue of financial failings.
The report found public cash was handed to local groups that were not eligible for the money and that a public building was sold off to an associate of the borough's Mayor, Lutfur Rahman.
The council said it was pleased the report found no evidence of fraud.
BBC London's Gareth Furby spoke to residents of the east London borough including Fergus Early, the artistic director of Green Candle Dance.
