Fifty scientific posts could be lost at Kew Gardens

More than 50 scientists at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew have been told they could lose their jobs.

London's Mayor Boris Johnson said he was concerned at the news, which emerged as he was celebrating Kew's research work during a visit to Singapore.
