Rise in Londoners buying homes outside the capital

Almost a third of Londoners buying their first home did so outside the capital this year, according to new figures.

About 15,000 homes were bought by first time buyers outside the city - a rise of 70% on 2013.

Johnny Morris, head of research at Hamptons International, and Stuart Williams from Haart estate agents, explained why people were looking outside the city.
