Homelessness on the increase, charities say

The number of Londoners with nowhere to live or facing eviction is increasing, charity figures have shown.

The charities Crisis and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation estimate 50,730 people had nowhere to live or faced eviction in London in 2014 - an increase on 12% on the previous year.

As part of BBC London's Crowded Capital series, reporter Nick Beake looks at the number of people living on the capital's streets.

Carlos Blanco, who has been living on the streets, Jon Sparkes, chief executive of Crisis and Sir Steve Bullock of London Councils also appear in the report.
