Election pledges target home buyers

The main parties have been unveiling their election policies aimed at helping people to get a home.

Labour set out how it would abolish stamp duty for first-time buyers on properties priced under £300,000.

It comes after the Conservatives outlined their plans to help people in social housing to buy their own homes.
