Inside the Metropolitan Police's 'Black Museum' of crime

Evidence and artefacts from some of the most notorious crimes ever committed are going on public display for the first time in a major exhibition at the Museum of London.

The collection from the Metropolitan Police's Crime Museum - previously nicknamed 'The Black Museum' - includes gruesome items from the acid bath murders to those belonging to the Kray twins.

The contents were previously hidden away in the depths of Scotland Yard - Nikki Bedi had a sneak preview.
