Leytonstone Tube attack video shown to jury

Mobile phone footage showing a knife attacker as he lashed out at Tube passengers has been shown to a jury.

Muhiddin Mire, 30, went on a rampage with the blade at Leytonstone Underground on December 5 last year, the Old Bailey heard.

Musician Lyle Zimmerman's throat was cut so badly that his windpipe was exposed.

Mr Mire denies attempted murder but admits four counts of attempted wounding and an alternative count of wounding with intent to cause Mr Zimmerman grievous bodily harm.

The trial continues.
