Justice secretary addressing prison safety concerns - PM

The Justice Secretary Liz Truss "recognises the importance of the issue" and is making more money available for prison staff after an inmate was killed at Pentonville Prison, Theresa May has said.

The PM was answering a question in the Commons from Bromley and Chislehurst MP Robert Neill who called for an urgent review of "the decline of safety in our prisons".
