The man behind the inspirational Tube board messages

Back in 2004, Tube worker Tony Gentles decided to cheer up stressed commuters at Oval by writing an inspirational quote up on the station's notice board.

The response was so positive that staff have continued the custom every day since, creating a trend and earning them a fan club all over the world.
