West End: Behind the scenes of Priscilla The Party
This year marks 30 years since the multi award-winning film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert hit cinemas.
The plot follows three drag queens, one a transgender woman, as they journey across the Australian Outback in a tour bus named Priscilla.
From 2009 to 2011, a musical of the film played to audiences at the Palace Theatre in London's West End. But the show is now back as Priscilla The Party, an immersive reimagining of the much-loved musical.
But does it live up to the glamour, glitz and camp spirit of its predecessors?
We asked one of its lead stars, Owain Williams, who plays Tick and his drag alter-ego Mitzy, to take us behind the scenes to find out.
