Manchester stargazer builds observatory in a shed
An amateur astronomer from Manchester has built an observatory in the shed in his back garden.
The observatory, which Brian Lynn has built over the course of a decade, includes a telescope mounted inside a 360 degree rotating dome.
He said the only problem with where he had built it was the weather, which only allows him to have "20 nights a year".
However, he said it was still worth it to get impressive images of the night sky that "you can't see with the naked eye".
