Appeal to find stars of Sooty film made in Macclesfield

A search is on for the children who starred alongside Sooty and Sweep in a film made more than 50 years ago.

The film recently turned up in the loft of a property, close to where it was made in Bollington, near Macclesfield.

It is now being shown at the Bollington Discovery Centre, where volunteers are trying to trace the children who appeared in the film from 1961.
