Half of a Bolton road is resurfaced by United Utilities workmen
Residents are calling for a road in Greater Manchester to be fully resurfaced after only half was tarmacked by workmen.
Boscow Road in Little Lever, Bolton, was partially covered by United Utilities once workmen, who used the road for access, had completed bridge repair works.
The utilities company carried out resurfacing work in line with its agreement with Bolton Council.
The council said "homes would have been at risk of surface water flooding due to the raised level of the highway and insufficient drainage" if the whole road was resurfaced.
United Utilities has agreed to repair some of the remaining potholes.
