Early Christmas grotto for terminally ill Wigan girl

A family house in Wigan was turned into a winter wonderland after a couple set up a fundraising page to give their terminally ill daughter a special Christmas.

Three-year-old Amelia Morris suffers from Tay Sachs disease - a rare genetic disorder.

Her parents wanted to make her final months as magical as possible and decided to transform their home into a Christmas grotto.

The big switch-on coincided with Amelia's third birthday, which was celebrated by hundreds of people from the Wigan community.
