Tameside rubbish 'mountain' disgusts residents

Residents in a Tameside Street say they are fed up with a "mountain" of rubbish that is clogging the alley near their homes.

Some people in Springfield Street, Ashton-Under-Lyne, claim their bins have not been emptied since Christmas.

But Tameside Council said it was the result of fly-tipping and a minority of anti-social tenants.
