Coronation Street's Beverley Callard on her depression

As part of the BBC's In The Mind series, a season that looks at mental health, Coronation Street star Beverly Callard has spoken frankly about her experience with depression, describing it as a "a curse of the strong".

The actress, who plays Liz McDonald in the ITV soap, recalls how she collapsed on set in 2009.

She had been unwell for the previous 18 months but said she "didn't really know" why.

She and husband Jon McEwan spoke to BBC North West Tonight presenters Roger Johnson and Annabel Tiffin.
