Manchester tram abuse victim campaigns against hate crime
A US Army veteran who was racially abused on a tram in Manchester has returned to public transport to campaign against hate crime.
Juan Jasso was targeted during an incident on a tram journey in the city centre, two weeks ago.
He was joined by Greater Manchester's interim Mayor Tony Lloyd, who is encouraging people to report incidents like this, and Metrolink.
Mr Jasso told BBC North West Tonight's Stuart Flinders he knew he would be "on his own" when he challenged the perpetrators.
